PSP Video Writer

Sony PSP is a media device which resembles a mobile phone, but has a greater functionality, allowing anyone to play videos and music files in a easier way than in case of a mobile phone. But to be able to play media files on this device, all the files must have a proper format because not every video and audio file can be played using this device. That's why media files should first be converted into a proper format, and then copied to the device. For helping the user in this matter, the PSP Video Writer application was launched. This simple Windows program allows converting a wide range of video formats into formats which are compatible with the PSP. But the program can be also used for other purposes, for example, creating videos for the web or for uploading to mobile phones.

The software is very simple to install and to use, allowing the user to become familiar with the interface the first moment he launches the application. One just needs to load the desired video file or group of video files, select the output format and click on the conversion button. At this point, the program will automatically convert each imported file.

Advanced users can deeply convert each output video format. As such, they can change the video bit rate, resolution and audio quality to suit their taste. Each imported video file will be displayed as a thumbnail in the program's interface, allowing the user to preview it using the built-in video player. Besides that, the user can trim a video file, by selecting the start and end positions of the video.
